Our Friend, Irina

What a great surprise! Last week we read on the Clute's blog that Irina, the adoption coordinator for CHI in Vladivostok, was in the US for some business and vacation. We had hoped that we could have an opportunity to see her while she was here, and we were pleased to have that opportunity come along yesterday. We got together with Irina and a couple of her friends at the Pitman's house. It was so wonderful to visit with this dear lady who does so much to bring families together. We will always be grateful to her and Lana for all that they did for our family in Vladivostok. We were so happy for her to see how well our children and the Pitman children are doing. These children are so remarkable in how they adapt and grow with language and attachment in such a short amount of time. It's fun to see Irina's reaction to those changes as well. We were disappointed that Lana couldn't be with her on this trip, but we hope to see her again someday when we take the boys back to Russia to see where they came from. Enjoy the rest of your trip, Irina, and thank you for bringing our family together!

Love,

Joel, Clarion, Slav & Sergei

Ok the Overstreet's are COMPLETELY jealous! We have got to hear to hear how all of this worked out. What a neat experience for Irina and for you guys. Totally bummed we didn't get in on the fun!

That is so awesome! While I was in Vlad, towards the end of my trip she shared with me that she would be coming to the US. She actually left for the US before I left Vlad. I am so happy she was able to come! She is an amazing person, along with Lana! I am forever grateful to both of them....

The Toeppes are jealous too! We loved Irina and Lana. Irina is amazing and I don't know what we would have done without her (Lana too). I will forever remember the day she told Ruslan that we wanted to adopt him. The smile on our 8 year old's face was precious (of course, I cried too!). I am so glad you were able to see her.

Blessings,

Myra

How special that you were able to visit with Irina again! We heard that she visited the Clutes and sent her pictures of our daughter through them. I'm so glad you had a nice time! Too bad we were unable to visit with her during her time in the US!

If I were to wager a guess at why, I’d say that users don’t “browse” forms. The interaction style users engage in with forms is different, and requires its own study and design best practices.
