Our new hope....

Our papers are with the judge!!!!  Can you feel the hope of a court date in the air?  Can you? We were told by Marti today that the judge has all of our papers and we would know when our court date was within two weeks.  Hopefully we have a judge that makes decisions quickly and it won't take two weeks.  Get ready boys to join your new family!!

So, folks, there you have it.  We will be going to Russia very soon.  How soon is up to the judge. We would appreciate comments from any of you who know how long the judge deliberated over your paperwork before giving you a date.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. Ours continue to be with those who wait.  God's blessings!

Joel & Clarion,

What wonderful news!
Sorry we cannot be one of those who answers your question about the length of the judge's deliberation.
But we will continue to pray that the judge's decision comes very soon.
We read the excitement in your words and cannot wait for your next posting... the one that tells us that you are headed to Vlad to bring your sons home.

Our love to all of you,
Aunt Jan & Uncle Eddie

Joel & Clarion,

We truly hope and pray you get your court date to go retrieve your boys very soon. We were all told Vlad was taking 4 to 6 months to schedule the return trip. We all hope for 4 and go crazy between the 4 to 6 month mark. I know if your faith had not been in god's perfect timing then you would be bonkers as you approach the 6 month mark. Now you have a light at the end of the tunnel and faith to know God's timing is perfect.

God Bless

Oh! This is such awesome news. I am so very pleased for you both that in no time at all you will be with your boys, and perhaps you'll make the birthday you hoped for. I can't seem to get any information from my rep right now, so I'm praying it's because she's gathering all kinds of info to tell me this week I have good news too. Congratulations on the special news! God bless that new family of yours.

Yeah!! I really hope that things move quickly for you. I am not a good resource as to how long everything could take for you (at this point). Our situation was a wild and rough ride.... Plus, I firmly believe that every situation is different. It seems that there isn't a "typical" scenario with international adoption. We'll just pray that your court date comes soon. I can't wait to read all about your travels!

God's Blessings,
Kathy

I agree with Shane and Kathy, every case seems to be different. I have heard of the judge giving dates within ten days and others about a month. I think our was about a month. Hang in there! God Bless -

Just want you to know that Buddy and I continue to keep you and your boys in our prayers and I feel it in my gut that it's going to be soon that y'all get a court date and all this waiting will be behind you. Every time I open your blog, I just know that y'all are going to post a date. God is holding a special time for all this to happen. It's very easy for us to sit back and tell you all this so we will continue to pray for strength and understanding for you both and for God to keep those boys tucked under his arms until your arrival.
Love to all,
